Biographical Info

Dancing changed my life. As a child I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and was unable to participate in gym, athletics, and dancing. About 20 years ago I found line dancing. I started teaching soon afterwards. I have competed with a line dance team and have been a manager, choreographer and leader of my own line dance team. I’ve competed in couples dance and have taught it.

I am s special education teacher with students with hearing loss. I teach American Sign language at Georgia State University. I have additional degrees in teaching the visually impaired and school psychology.
